Introducing the ultimate solution for dogs and cats suffering from anxiety: ZEN PET

If you've ever experienced anxiety yourself, you understand the distress it can cause – a feeling you'd never want your beloved pet to endure. In recent years, there's been a growing recognition of mood disorders in dogs, including anxiety, which, if left unaddressed, can lead to depression. Anxiety in dogs can manifest in destructive behaviours like uncontrollable pacing, urination in inappropriate places, and damaging items that aren't their toys. When you leave your dog alone and they become anxious, it can escalate into more serious issues. To help soothe your anxious pup, consider utilising CB2 oil, known for its calming properties.

What are Terpenes

Terpenes are commonly found in a wide variety of plants including but not limited to clover, rosemary, lavender, fruits, and spices. They contribute to the smell and flavour of plant-based foods. Natural plant terpenes are used as flavourings and fragrances in foods and wellness products.

Research shows that terpenes may contribute to wellness as part of healthy lifestyle management. The common wellness effects include improvements in physical aches and tension, balancing mood and calmness, controlling appetite, sharper thinking, and supporting restlessness, anxiety, and sleep.

Are Terpenes Safe for My Pet?

While we know that terpenes are in no way a cure-all for the unwanted symptoms and ailments our pets experience at times, they may provide great benefits for your pet. Terpenes occur in our everyday plants, fruits, and even spices, deeming them completely safe for our pets to consume.

The Entourage Effect

The interaction between terpenes are what causes what is known as the entourage effect. Terpenes work together synergistically to provide pain relief, anxiety relief, and reduction of inflammation among other benefits.

Types of Terpenes

We carefully selected and formulated the blend of terpenes to deliver the desired result.

Caryophyllene This terpene, has a woody, peppery scent, is also found in black pepper and cinnamon. Studies indicate that this one small terpene is capable of performing the big job of treating anxiety, depression, and inflammation.

Myrcene is a common terpene found in plants like wild thyme, hops, lemongrass, basil, and even mango. Myrcene has pain relieving and sedative properties contributing to it's ability to provide a great nights sleep.

Limonene is one of the most common terpenes found in nature. Studies have found that limonene from citrus oils helped promote a calming, mood boosting effect in a study of participants (in this case, mice).

Linalool has similar traits as myrcene, but they’re just not as potent. That said, linalool gives off a clean, fresh floral scent, with hints of citrus aroma. For a long time, lavender has been known for its mood enhancing and calming effects in animals – and the reason for this is because lavender contains linalool.

5 Stars!

My staffy is terrified of thunderstorms! I've been putting about half a ml of CB2 in his food and it's managed to completely calm him down. He actually just sits there with me and then drifts off to sleep!

Fantastic!

I’ve noticed a significant improvement in behaviour from my pet husky, Shadow. His overall mood has gotten better and anxiety levels have dropped. I’ve already recommended to a few friends. Thanks guys!
